Nail polish marbling

How to easily marble glass with nail polish.

What you need:

  • Bowl of water
  • nail polish
  • mason jar or baby-food jar (empty and washed)
  • toothpick

Tip: Covering the bowl with a bag helps cleaning up later. As the nail polish leftovers do not stick to the bowl and you can simply dispose of the bag.

Now you can start dropping the nail polish into the water.

The nail polish spreads in the water and shaps increasing rings.

Now you can start moving the toothpick through the nail polish and create a pattern.

Tip: You should hurry as the nail polish dries and sticks to the toothpick.

Now you can begin dipping the glass into the water with the nail polish marble pattern.

If you do not get everything marbled at the first time, you can dip the glass again into the water, if there is enough nail polish left.

If there isn’t enough nail polish left, you can simply drip nail polish into the water again and dip in the glass, with the side that isn’t marbled yet.
