I’m so in love with Spring right now and a little flower shopping addicted (uuupps).
I started gardening last year and I just love to plant flowers and decorate our house and garden with flowers.
As soon as I saw these green flower pots, I knew exactly what I want to do with them: a DIY hanging flower decor for our garage wall.
Because I already spent a lot of money for flowers, pots and soil this year, I wanted to make a DIY project that doesn’t cost that much. So I just used some sticks, rope, some flowers and my new green hanging flower pots that I’ve got for under 1 buck a piece. That will make this DIY hanging flower decor project under $5 (yes)
What you will need:
- 3 hanging flower pots
- 3 sticks
- rope
- scissors
- flowers
- yarn

So let’s get down to business.
First I start by connecting the 3 sticks with the rope, it helps to hang the first stick already onto a nail or door nob.
To get the sticks leveled the ropes on each side needs to be the same length, so that the flower pots don’t move to one side.
Now just look for the perfect spot for your DIY and hang up the flower pots onto the sticks.
I also added some easter eggs to the ends of the sticks as cute easter decor.
Tip: As little help for watering the flowers I added some yarn to the bottom of the inner flower pot. So if I forget to water them, the flower roots can get some water from the bottom of the outer pot.
I hope my instructions were helpful and I could give you some ideas and inspirations. I am looking forward reading your comments or receiving pictures of your own creations.
hope to see you again soon.
