painted mason jars/ baby food jars

How to easily upcycle mason jars or baby food glasses.

What you need:

  • Mason jar or baby food glasses (empty and washed out)
  • masking tape
  • paint

Tip: I chose these small wall paint samples, which are small and cheap and even contain a brush. Unfortunately, I have noticed that these wall paints are not the best way to paint glass. You may better take acrylic paints.

Let’s begin.

The first step is to stick on the masking tape onto the glass. Let your imagination run wild, you can write letters, zigzag lines or simple strips.

Then you can start painting your glass. Make sure the color is applied evenly.

When you finish painting, you can remove the masking tape again.

That’s it. If you want to use the glass as a candle holder, you can just add some sand and put a candle on top of it.

I hope my instructions were helpful and I could give you some ideas and inspirations. I am looking forward reading your comments or receiving pictures of your own creations.

I hope to see you again soon.
